Example: Media RSS

Description

In addition to loading your own XML file, or content from SlideShowPro Director, SlideShowPro can load images from Media RSS feeds. Media RSS is a special type of RSS feed that contains rich media assets like video, audio and imagery. Many media sharing and news sites publish content using Media RSS, which can be loaded by SlideShowPro for Flash (assuming the publisher allows their RSS feeds to be read by Flash).

If a Media RSS feed contains groups of content published at various sizes, SlideShowPro for Flash will automatically find the images that are the best fit for the slideshow size you have published, and will request that imagery. You can also change your Content Format to "Full Screen" if you'd like SlideShowPro for Flash to select images that would work best with full screen viewing (which would then be downscaled in the "normal" view).

Last but not least, this example loads multiple Media RSS feeds because they've been grouped together in an OPML file, which SlideShowPro for Flash can load.
